Servet Dilber is a Turkish photojournalist, DoP and magazine editor based in Istanbul, Turkey. After graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Art University Photography Department, he freelanced in various disciplines of photography including commercial and reportage photography, book and magazine editing and colourmanaging. His photos and features have appeared in ATLAS, National Geographic Turkey, Die Zeit, Le Monde, Financial Times, The Guardian among others.
Dilber has given lectures in photography schools in Turkey and has also been featured and quoted in books on documentary photography. His monograph on the seasonal agricultural workers, Endless Harvest (Bitmeyen Hasat) was published in 2015.
His book project was nominated for the Henri-Cartier Bresson Foundation Documentary Photography Scholarship. His feature documentary “Vuslatın Başka Alem / Istanbul Meyhaneleri was chosen as he competition finalist for the 42nd Antalya Film Festival.
Servet Dilber continues to make long-term photographic works on culture and environment.
